Who we are
Al-Masaar General Trading LLC ("Al Masaar", "we", "us") is a company licensed in the United Arab Emirates (licence no. 2645869.01), registered at Sharjah Media City (Shams), Al Messaned, Al Bataeh, Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. We trade in garments and, through our Digital Solutions division, build and operate business software for our clients.
This policy explains how we handle personal data on almasaarco.com and in the applications we operate for clients, including our Meta app "Al Masaar Connect". Contact: Junaid@almasaarco.com.
Information we collect on our website
When you send an enquiry or chat with us, we collect the details you give us: name, company or shop name, WhatsApp / phone number, email address, country and the content of your message.
We also collect basic technical data needed to run the website (such as device type, pages visited and approximate country), which is used only to operate and improve the site.
Software services we provide to clients
We build and operate business applications for our clients (for example donation-collection, field-operations, retail and wholesale systems). In these applications we process data on behalf of, and under the instructions of, the client that owns the account.
When a client connects its own WhatsApp Business account to its application through our Meta app "Al Masaar Connect" (WhatsApp Business Platform / Embedded Signup), we may receive that client's WhatsApp Business account details (business name, phone number and account IDs), its customer conversations (messages, message history it chooses to share, contact names and phone numbers, and related media) and message status updates.
How we use WhatsApp and Meta Platform Data
Data received from Meta, including WhatsApp data, is used only to provide the service the client has requested: showing the client its own customer conversations inside its private staff dashboard, so its team can follow up customer requests, and keeping that copy up to date.
We do not sell, rent or share this data with anyone, we do not use it for advertising or profiling, and we do not combine it with data from other clients. Access is restricted to the client's authorised staff and to our administrators where needed for support.
We process Meta Platform Data in accordance with the Meta Platform Terms and the WhatsApp Business policies.
Legal basis and sharing
We use website enquiry data to respond to you and manage our business relationship (legitimate interest / steps before a contract). Client data is processed to perform our contract with the client.
We share data only with service providers that host and run our applications (cloud hosting and databases) under confidentiality obligations, or where required by law.
Retention
Enquiry data is kept for as long as needed to handle your request and our business relationship. Client application data is kept for as long as the client uses the service, and is deleted within 30 days after the client disconnects or asks us to delete it, unless the law requires us to keep it longer.
Security
Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS), stored with access controls, and access tokens are kept as protected server-side secrets. Only authorised people can access it.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal data, or object to its use, by emailing us. If your data is held in a client's application, we will pass your request to that client and help them respond.
Data deletion
To request deletion of your data, email Junaid@almasaarco.com with the subject "Data deletion request" and the phone number or email address concerned. Clients can also disconnect their WhatsApp Business account at any time from their dashboard or from Meta Business Settings. Full instructions: almasaarco.com/data-deletion.
